Thank you for this wonderful post. As I am approaching Lent, (as a Catholic) I’m preparing for a 40 day detox (physical, spiritual, mental). I feel like I’ve lost my way and need to get back on track. Stepping away from all the “garbage in the world” is the only way, with God’s Grace, I can do this.

I’ve always thought of spirituality and connecting with God as a human universal phenomenon… we are all God’s children. There is so much in common with all of our collective belief systems, that it has to be divine…. no human is capable of that.

Ironically, the word Catholic means “Universal”, as my pastor keeps reminding me. There are not a lot of Catholics, or Christians, for that matter that are NOT living that example with our brothers and sisters of the world. I think many need to see this article/post. You have wisdom that needs to be shared with so many.

Again, thank you for your writing….. it is truly a gift. Please pray for me in my 40 day journey, and I will pray for your endeavors as well.
